A brief word about League Ages

Both our Spring and Fall Seasons are based on what we refer to as League Ages.  The birthday cut-off for each division is for the player to turn the League Age before May 1 of the appropriate year, with the exception of T-Ball.  T-Ball players will need to have turned the League Age before January 1 of the appropriate year.  For example, players planning to enroll in Ponies for the Spring 2025 Season would need to turn 7 before May 1, 2025.  Players enrolling in T-Ball would need to turn 5 before January 1, 2025.

When enrolling your player, our system will analyze both the League Age requirements and your player's birthday to give you the appropriate division option to enroll your player.

Spring 2025

Spring 2025 Season

2025 will be NCYBA's 79th Season!  Since 1946, New Cumberland Youth Baseball Association has held the philosophy of "Instruct, Encourage, Acknowledge."  While other leagues have shifted their focus to creating highly competitive teams, often leaving players behind, NCYBA is re-focusing on it's core philosophy to welcome players of all skill levels and instruct them, encourage them and acknowledge them.  Too often in today's society, the focus on winning is pushed too hard at a very young age, causing select players to rise and the others to fall behind and feel left out.  We believe that with our philosophy, we can teach players of all skill levels to become their very best.

Below are the competitive divisions for the NCYBA 2025 Spring Season:

T-Ball (Ages 5-6)
Pony (Ages 7-8)
Minors (Ages 9-10)
Majors (Ages 11-12)
Teeners (Ages 13-18)
*Teener registration fees will not be collected at sign up, but will be due prior to the start of the season.

In addition to these Divisions, we will also be offer a T-Ball Clinics for ages 4-5. This division is for players who turn 4 by January 1, 2025, and for younger 5 year olds who did not meet the League Age cut-off for the T-Ball division.  The T-Ball Clinics will utilize drills and activities to introduce first time players to the basic fundamentals of baseball.  This will include things such as how to hold the ball, throwing the ball, fielding the ball, how to hold a bat, how to stand in the batter's box, how to swing and hit the ball, field layout, bases, base running, and more.  The focus for these players is to develop the basic skills in order to help them succeed as they age into the T-Ball Program.

T-Ball Clinics will be held weekly on Sundays.  They will consist of six sessions starting at 12 Noon and running until approximately 12:45pm.  If there are a large number of players signed up for Clinics, players may be split into two groups, with one group starting at 12 noon, and the second group starting at 1pm.

Tentative clinic dates are:

Sunday, April 13, 2025
Sunday, April 27, 2025
Sunday, May 4, 2025
Sunday, May 11, 2025
