UPDATED 1/3/18 - THE NEW BAT STANDARDS

On January 1, 2018 USA Baseball will be implementing a rule change to the bats. If you are 14 years old or younger and play Little League®, Babe Ruth & Cal Ripken, PONY, Dixie or AABC, you will need to use a new bat marked with a new USA Baseball stamp.
The bats currently on the market, which are marked with a 1.15BPF stamp, will no longer be legal for play in these leagues.
Bats with the new standard will be marked with the new USA Baseball stamp, seen here:

The NCYBA strongly recommends changing your player's bat to the new standard as soon as possible.  New USA Baseball standard bats will be required for all games. Umpires will be checking all bats for the USA stamp before games. The NCYBA will supply each team with a USA Baseball bat For those players who have not acquired a USA Baseball bat for the season.
If you are purchasing a new bat, please know stores are now selling the USA Baseball bats, and removing the old standard one from their shelves.  Just make sure whatever you get has the USA Baseball stamp on it.
